About an hour away from the two international airports of the island, Maroulas village is 8 km away from the town of Rethymno. Placed almost in the middle of Crete is close to all major sights & attractions.

The port of Rethymno has daily ferry boat connection with Athens via Pireaus port. The trip from Rethymno to Pireaus lasts about 8 hours. Also no more than an hour away from the other major ports of the island at Heraklion & Souda Bay.
